#1 son fishes hard water on Michigan; I haven't made it yet. Heard too many stories of trucks & 4 wheelers being suddenly turned into fish cribs.

that only happens when people push to fayst into spring. The ice here was 3 feet thick.

Plenty of bears up there too, and snow that can measure FEET at a time.

Southern Michigan is far enough north for me to live, though I love to visit the northern reaches of our state where my dad grew up.

My opinion of fir north Yankee's is softening. kinda scares me some . this here ta rules don't touch the steel don't mess wif me young'uns . and you'ins is allowed to pass through .
