DH is in a hockey tournament a couple of counties away.  I'm the photographer so I have to go.

Is it tough integrating the chicks?  This is my first time doing so (with ducks).  Wish me luck!

Depends on the personalities. I have a big run and provide hiding spaces and separate food/ water stations. They have been in the brooder box in the coop for a few weeks now, so they're not strangers.

It went pretty well a few days ago. Hoping it won't take too long.

How are things at camp, WV?

Pretty good! With the exception of losing another comet yesterday noticed one wasn't around throughout the day, I have a loner, so I didn't get too worried early. Finally went looking for her and found her dead in the run. No obvious trauma, but didn't get to examine her completely. Felt for bound egg, but that's about it. A storm rolled thru about the time I found her, so I'll look at her later. I had been an egg short for about 3 days now.

Was nice time with the kids, grandbaby stayed all night. She's such a hoot!

I hope you're able to figure out what happened. Being left to wonder bites.

LOL...Donald is such a character. Had them out yesterday so the could forage in a new area. I'd swear he kept posing for pics so I obliged. Have to find someplace to share those later. Yup, you know I'll take lots of pics when the babies go outside.

Aw, glad she stayed the night & it was a nice time yesterday!
