Na, I'm sitting in the shade watching my wife and my chickens graze. Relaxing and stimulating at the same time. weatherbug says its 70 but it's a bluebird sky.

It's 80 here in Hays. I'm not acclimated to this heat yet & neither is my mixed flock...everybody's panting! My DH finally started working on the pen again this afternoon! Funny! I have jean shorts on and my "bra kini ! heehee, nobody knows the difference! And it's kinda flashy so from afar all is well. Trying to help the hubby out. And figured I might as well get a little sun too!

I integrate ducks all the time without issue... I think it's all about space though... just let some littles loose yesterday and they fit right in, easy peasy... although, today they're picking on the big ducks, lol...

Pretty good! With the exception of losing another comet yesterday noticed one wasn't around throughout the day, I have a loner, so I didn't get too worried early. Finally went looking for her and found her dead in the run. No obvious trauma, but didn't get to examine her completely. Felt for bound egg, but that's about it. A storm rolled thru about the time I found her, so I'll look at her later. I had been an egg short for about 3 days now.
Have fun Deb and take more pics of course. Tell Donald to behave.

Was nice time with the kids, grandbaby stayed all night. She's such a hoot!

It I'd thought it was going to be another long night...wss pretty steroid hyper when I went to bed....and my neck was sore....but I feel right to sleep....
Yeah any exotic like that I have to bring in....they will survive inside....not thrive....but they go crazy in the greenhouse during the summer.....my dwarf banana tree only gets 18"...and it's supposed to fruit tiny edible bananas...we'll see
I got a really nice grape vine too....I can't remember the variety but it's an extreme cold weather type.
