French frogs

It's 80 here in Hays. I'm not acclimated to this heat yet & neither is my mixed flock...everybody's panting! My DH finally started working on the pen again this afternoon! Funny! I have jean shorts on and my "bra kini ! heehee, nobody knows the difference! And it's kinda flashy so from afar all is well. Trying to help the hubby out. And figured I might as well get a little sun too!
Good job!!!

We all know your just providing motivation! Be careful though, I lost a digit over a lot less distraction. :)

Ya'll ready for this???

It's been 13 days since the haybale incident... am still tubing fluids but I think that's cuz she hates the taste of the vites I load it with... but 2 days ago she started refusing the food tubing... she is now dabbling the food slurry herself... sitting up on her own, talks, and is holding her head up for the most part... still has some head control issues and bouts of it getting betond her ability to turn back around, but she is steadily improving... I think her hearing is most likely gone and sight may be as well, but she is starting to adapt and is still getting stronger...

That is nothing less than amazing! Good work!

I know the feeling....:hugs....one of those "thingys"
Get it taken care of yet?...please do...I'd hate to see you let it go too long. Those things can get dangerous.
Agreed....

Got antibiotics, best can do... trust me, I know... but what needs done is way beyond what we can afford by a long shot... :/

Seriously, I cannot fathom how she survived the initial injury... she is one Tuff Duck!! I thought her momma was the toughest duck I had ever seen, but this girl refuses to give up... I can do no less for her in return... it's exhausting, but we're fighting through... I think she hears her cheering section too... thank you, everyone... :hugs
