Funniest thing I have ever recorded!!!!! Remember these ducklings are only 3 weeks old.

   That duck thinks she's a little bad arse.

One of our younger ones keeps chasing our Mallard/Rouen girls... flockin hilarious!!

The Spitzes were little eggs hatching in a "Large" carton, so no worries there.  A bunch of your eggs (EEs, Orp, Sulm and a couple of BCM) are in the cooler in a turkey egg tray, and the Ams, Ars and the darkest of the BCM in the Eco 20 leaning on each other.  

The first BCM has popped out her head!

By the time the chicks have fought gravity to pop off the top of the shell and climb out with those stubby little wings and a lot of leg pushes, they seem to get on their feet quickly.  

With all that effort to get out, those leg muscles should work well, lol...

Was funny as heck...my neighbor laughed his butt off....his hunting beagle being chased away by a hen duck....lol

Keep in mind that it was really bright, and Mr. P had given up on camera work earlier. The bear discussion towards the end is funny, though.

Hey guys, quick question. Can I feed laying pellets to Silkies or should I feed laying crumbles? Trying to keep from buying two kinds of laying food.

Guys I'm sitting here with hubby watching a show with s chick on my lap several of my babies seem to be twitching? Shaking their heads...like a jerk or twitch? I've noticed it with several different chicks this last day. They're healthy eating and drinking fine. Any ideas?

Thanks guys for liking the video. On a sadder note....hubby and I had our truck stolen this evening while he was in class. It sucks, ironically we are not as upset about it as we should be. Is that bad??? I mean we are praying and stressed obviously but its really out of our control and now we just wait. We filed a report with police and insurance already. We will be getting a loaner car in the next couple of days....so yep.
