French frogs

I was just wondering what part of the state it was in? Although it doings like a good place to live for me...I was looking at places that had no real truck access....I know people who live without running water or electricity. I used to install solar systems and generators for them.
In fact the guy at the end of my road had a simple generator ,outhouse and sauna...

We're near Houghton Lake, and have a well and outhouse. Our property has a county road crossing one corner, but it's not maintained as we have the only private property on it. The ORV route is just a few hundred yards south and is maintained much better, so we use it to get to the county two track. ATVs tear up the sand so there are deep holes and deep loose sand which keep cars out.

I've seen a lot of success hatching upright, no arguments there... I just don't like the use of egg cartons, blocks the view of too much of the egg if it pips low...

Glad those hatched well... can't wait to see the outcome of this one...

All's fair, ya know?

The Spitzes were little eggs hatching in a "Large" carton, so no worries there. A bunch of your eggs (EEs, Orp, Sulm and a couple of BCM) are in the cooler in a turkey egg tray, and the Ams, Ars and the darkest of the BCM in the Eco 20 leaning on each other.

The first BCM has popped out her head!

By the time the chicks have fought gravity to pop off the top of the shell and climb out with those stubby little wings and a lot of leg pushes, they seem to get on their feet quickly.

Houghton lake is a nice area....when I was younger I wish I would jabs bought a camp. I was shocked at how cheap land was up here...just figured it would always be cheap...and I already lived in the woods. Wish I would have thought that out Better....but of course I got real sick and the rest is history...my life was pretty much catch up since.

This is the shoreline around Marquette where I worked all my life....I snuck a few minutes of fishing in today...believe it or not in standing in front of the Marquette Branch Maiming security prison.

So much we could have done if we knew then what we know now.
