Way to go Friday! Is this one of the shipped eggs?

OG's February hatch. 10 weeks old from my project line, 3rd generation. White hen Bronze son Midnight Moon son These three are large birds, nearly as large as year old heritage hens already at ten weeks. I may have exceeded my growth target... The white hen will definitely be held over for breeding. This lovely Midnight Moon boy may end up too large to be a breeder. Blue Appenzeller Spitzhaubens from Phoredaburds: Ravyn: Farmboy: I don't spend much time with them so these littles are pretty skittish. In a week or two I'll be splitting out the surplus cockerels for broilers and fryers
Sweet! You like the Spitzhaubens?

exciting times Friday!

:jumpy  :yiipchick  :celebrate :yesss:

LOL
Thanks, my sister named barney, because as she said, "He is the biggest dork of a chicken I've ever seen" He thinks he's big and tough but even the pullets boss him around :gig  The name Two Toes just stuck after we started calling her that when she lost a toe (Not sure how)

Yuck my cat just farted ....nasty

Good Morning Guys and Gals!

Yup, they are all shipped Barnevelder eggs. Mostly gold laced, but there are 2 blue laced eggs in there - well, one now because this one hatched.

Good deal, Friday!

Haven't gotten to know them. They're skittish and pretty, that's about it so far.

Nice pics of them, Walnut. Thanks for sharing!
