French frogs

Were having hot wings and nachos for race day lunch....yum

Yum! It's funny, but DH is really struggling to get into the racing this year -- he was a Gordon fan, I think he's still in mourning, lol.
I grind my teeth at night, too. I bought this mouth guard thing at Walgreens...it's a wax mold. Definitely protects my teeth and it wasn't hard to get used to...I was worried that it would keep me awake, but no problems.

So they aren't a huge deal to get used to? I have noticed that lately the husband has been grinding his teeth a LOT at night (I'm a very light sleeper and any noise makes it impossible for me to get back to sleep once I'm awake, so this is a problem for me, lol) and have thought about suggesting one for him.

Things have been really rough this week. First, Tuesday one of our dogs tried to eat one of all time favorite hens... A blue banty Cochin who would literally fly to me out the door o her coop Every single day... She was long gone before I caught him. Couldve Freakn killed him

Then I got sick, my med condition tearing me down this week.

Then one of my grandfather's passed away. Most of u know that I cared for my grandma? He's the Paw Paw her and I lived with, we had a very rocky relationship, as he had w most people, and I hadn't seen him in six months, but I'll never forget that time we spent tugther. He called me his 'nurse-maid' while I ran around and handled his household, and treated his skin cancer sores. Strokes finally took him at 94, one two months ago, one 2 weeks ago, then one on Thursday. I never Freakn knew. His sons each have my number, I used to text one of them Every time the man hit his head! Which was often, he wasn't careful at All! They couldn't tell me he had a dam stroke...

A rough week. Murphy's law perhaps...

Oh, my, what a week - I am so sorry for your loss - and that you were left out of the loop on things.
I have 11 survivors from the disaster. One is still on the fence. Moving the next batch to lockdown later in the week for a May 2 hatch.
11 survivors is not too shabby considering.

Sunday afternoon stroll with my sweetie in the Sumter Nat'l Forest Parsons Mt. Rec Area. I love where we live! Hey Phil it's 80 degrees here and everything is green and blooming!

Blackberries are in full bloom.
Absolutely beautiful! Looks like a very nice way to spend the day.

Yes, I was actually surprised at how easy it was to get used to. I was dreading it..thinking I wouldn't sleep for a few nights. It took me a bit longer to fall asleep the first couple of nights and that was it. Been simple ever since.

It's only about ten minutes from home so we go there a lot .

I think you should adopt me!

Done! Just don't expect an inheritance because you would have six siblings... BTW- wear the mouth guard! I clenched my teeth all my life and I'm paying (literally) for it now.
