Don't stress about it. Maybe this fall when things start laying, you could send me something. Three (out of 4 viable ones) of my own eggs are still going. My goal this incubation is to improve my hatching percentage from lock down, and reduce the number dead in shell I have.

For sure. I will be keeping the prettiest of those out of my flock for the next generation of layers plus the best of my new acquisitions. It is MUCH quieter here with only one rooster, it will be weirdly quiet when I get rid of my feather footed roo, but I am sure the 40 or so youngsters will step up quickly to make their voices heard.

Every time I get sore muscles I tell my wife. "Let's go get in the hot tub!" If only we had a hot tub...

. We have a pool, that's the Mrs. She doesn't seem to get the hint. We're forking out enough $ on a pool liner to get a cheap hot tub....duh. That's why I don't get the hot tub. Women rule, women rule.. I keep forgetting that!

Feeling okay... Not great but okay... But yes compared to a few weeks ago...
Feeling good..... Steroids are helping... I was gonna post a selfie with my duck... Then I looked at how moon-faced I looked from the steroids and decided not too.
Kind got a Charlie Brown face right now..... And have no idea when (or if)I can taper off the Prednisone.....

Crested skulls are NOT an acceptable mallard variation.

Even if they look like mallards, they are not. They are mixed.

I have a few crossbeaks out of that big chick hatch.     Haven't had any crossbeaks since 1998 thanks to persistent culling and I forgot how disturbing they are.  As long as they can eat, they will be raised to be meaties.

Just out of (morbid) curiosity, were the smashed ones on the edges or in the middle? Mine from Rav, that I'm candling tomorrow night for the 7 day candle, had smashed eggs in the middle of the box, despite her usual wonderful packing...


Are you using the native browser, or Chrome or Firefox? On my S4 Mini, I can only post pics using the "Internet" app. Haven't had a chance to play with my new phone yet (was going to get the LG G4, but they were out, but the guy managed to gather up enough discounts for me to get the G5 instead, plus keep my old phone as a new line and save us $30 a month. Actually, $40--forgot the teacher discount Since 'twas an hour and a half after closing Friday, and my old phone was too full (thanks to my daughters making lots of short little videos) to do wireless transfers, we had to drop the phones off yesterday, and then we had company after picking them up again... All I've done with it so far is get alarms set and choose a ringtone The old phone is now the house phone--the girls can give that number to friends instead of mine!

My S5 worked great.... The New S7 has new phone bugs.... Note to self never get the latest greatest until the bugs are worked out....

Mine is the Galaxy s5 Sport... has occasional issues, but not too bad... love it, but now it's getting old and having more issues... need to replace but I don't want a buggier phone, lol...
