French frogs

You are welcome to come up and cook for me. 'Fraid I don't have room for all your critters and bators, so I guess you'd have to commute.

I know you'll get things back in order but please enjoy a few weeks of early summer before you get back to that grueling schedule!

Well it's to late for that . I have so much to do and feel guilty if I'm not working on something all the time. Spring time means planting and mowing and the list goes on and on . Add in the pool and trucks that need to be repaired and tractor and balers and rakes . I don't think I've every made through a hay cutting without breaking something. But its like Dan said win some lose some . I'd come there just for the butcher block .Reminds me of the one in the grocery store I worked at in high school . To far to drive though . got a airplane tucked way somewhere ? and while I'm here how long dose it take for Turkey eggs ? the 12th was day 14

28 days, and pip generally right on the cusp of the 28th in my incubator.

I am hatching in the GQF for the first time. 17 turkeys in that great big old bottom tray. I had to open the lower vent to keep the humidity down in the low 60s.

I know whatcha mean about fixing broken stuff. I bought new motorcycles last year and sold a fleet of old ones to minimize "fixits". So my daughter and her boyfriend bought old bikes, he flipped his yesterday and twisted the front end. He rode it over so I could fix it for him. He thought he bent the bars but somehow he twisted the tubes in the lower tree clamps. Allen wrench, level, tape measure and 15 minutes and all good.

Lucky he wasn't hurt . bet that as a hard ride over

He was showing off to his mom how good he was at wheelies. He learned the hard way, on asphalt, that riding without protective gear on asphalt and hitting the pavement does not feel good. His knees look bad but it's a flesh wound. Better to learn that lesson at low speed than on the freeway like my friend who high sided on a curve at 90 and flew like a rag doll into a guardrail. Two years later and he's still a mess.

That because you know instinctively that they are disease cariers!
Phil do you have lime disease in your region? Or spotted fiver?

Yes we have a lot of lime disease but that's deer ticks that spread lyme disease... Wood ticks.... Are still nasty
Lost my quote from you yesterday, sorry...

Very glad to have had the time to get to know you... and we'll take what we can when you can post... hope your new job is all you've hoped for and know you will do well...
