4 boys is really something! Good for you Sally!
17 year is very significant age! It is the last birthday
Before being legal by law! We in Israel became adult citizens at 18 years! ( = you can go to a bar!) and at 18 you have to go the army for 3 years! So it is quite special!

Military service is a great thing....did wonders for me....wish I would have stayed in more than 6 years....and wish our country still made it a requirement I bet more people would respect this great country of ours.

Exactly Sally...the military opened my eyes too a lot of tradition....it upsets me to see so many whiners.....and selfish people.....that don't understand how great our country IS.....people that just want everything given to them and don't respect how hard people before them worked to build this wonderful country.

We serve only in our borders! We don't serve abroad!
As the all length of our grate country is less than 600 miles, it is only
A mater of hours to go home! They usually come home once in 2-3 weeks! It depend in what you do in the army, and where you are posted!

They talked about thanks given,and the life in the US from their perspective, one of them was mad that her mother didn't remember that it is thanks giving, and didn't prepare for here the stuffed Turkey that she loves so much!
