I think I finally figured out how to market eggs so I can fire up my incubators.

I'm selling the EE eggs for $20 a dozen and that comes with hatching service. So if they want to set and hatch on their own, $12 a dozen, but for a small additional fee I will set and hatch. Anything that comes out of the eggs they bought is theirs.

I have someone wanting 25+ chicks, so just working out the details before I fire up the incubator!

I missed this post. What kind of eggs are you setting??
I love ducks! I don't have my own yet and I haven't fully decided if I will hatch some in spring or not. I know I'm going to fall in love and my hands are kinda full already, so I don't know if I should do it. Yours are beautiful. Can't wait to see pics of their babies in spring!

yeah I'm a bit nervous but really want to try....I just got to study up so I haven't got the problems I've heard others have while hatching

Busy day today... but we got supplies for 3 more coops... and got a used prefab for littles dirt cheap...

Arent they just growin fast even for tinies! I love the feel of them stickin their beaks between my fingers lookin for food when they are little the little boogers!  I had one of those washroom sinks and I used to put them in there when they were little before the reno and they loved it.

I figured out a way I may be able to do the NYD Hal. I'm cleaning out the basement/laundry room today. All my brooder stuff is already down there and I can't believe I didn't think of brooding down there before!! No one wants smelly chicks in the house over winter. But I can definitely brood downstairs! Heck, they can live down there till spring! My only concern is loosing power. What's the cheapest generator you can buy?? Anyone ever lose power with chicks around over winter? I mean chicks are pretty hardy. I had mine weened off heat and outside by 3 weeks! And that was in November and they did great. Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day. I'm working on a way to enable my addiction...what's new!

I forgot to ask, what colors were the ducklings in the pics? Where the first ones white??@RavynFallen

1 white, Io hatched from shipped eggs... I don't have white or white carriers in my flock... the 3 of Lady Greys *should be* all blue fawn... but 1 looks kinda like pied to me, and 1 looks khaki... will know for sure once they feather out...

I caught it, but I was nice and didn't point it out

So what's the count now?

All Calls... got lots in the bator and lots more to set... my flocks drakes found their little blue pills...

I love the white. Think they might be my fav. I can't believe you have so many eggs!!! That is awesome!!!
