Yes! They were purchased from Foley as mature birds.




I have 5 chicks on the ground so far.

2 all black and 3 SLW looking chicks. I'm 99% sure that the SLW x Lav are all black and the SLW x SLW are normal looking SLW chicks. That will make things easier later on.

I will post pics when I take them out of the hatcher.

I had some SLW long ago, they sure didn't look like that. I discarded a lot of breeds as not worth raising based on hatchery stock. Now I get to try the experiments all over again!
