Io is huge, Lady Greys babies are growing like weeds... next set is getting into position for pipping...

Calls I set already on Sun & Mon... shipped ones came late, very wiggly air cells... setting more Ohiki Fri...

So more hatching this weekend then!! Someone contacted me today for a dozen silkie chicks! I don't think I can get enough eggs to do it but summer is going to be a blast!! Things are definitely progressing here! I'm greatful I decided one day "hey, wouldn't it be cool to see chicken eggs hatch"!

Sorry about the air cells. Trust me, I know how disappointing it is to unwrap those eggs and see the jiggle.

Yep, this weekend and next, lol... I now wish Lady Grey would stop laying... hard to resist setting her eggs...

Shipped are what they are... the tracking stopped for 3 days, I figured they were gonners then... we'll see if they develop... from same one Io came from...

Lets just say I was slightly self-destructive, so getting married at 19 was an act of rebellion, and the best thing that ever happened to me.  (We'll be married 33 years in January)  Kids were brought up flexible, had them when I was 21 and 24.  We didn't have a lot and we didn't need a lot.  They went with us everywhere, probably some places they shouldn't have, but they turned out great!

Let me know if you need a drink when you get caught up, K.

My flock of Araucana bantams when I got them were a hot mess color wise... they have good type, leg color and egg color, but were an awful mix of colors and tail stubs, etc... after a year I have managed to pull this boy out and am putting him over this older hen and will see what they make...
