French frogs

ok, serious question..........

I have a couple of buff orph's that are probably past laying age, or at least laying regular.

should they go to the pot, or is it possible they could go broody and hatch some eggs for me?

That's a tough call. They probably won't brood. My first pen still has some old girls from my first few years. It's a retirement home. They are named, and are pets, but I have the room and enough producing chickens that I can let them live their lives out. If I had limited room, the flock would have to be turned over

Have they gone broody in the past? If they have, they might go broody again.
