The older we get the harder those long days are.  Next week we'll drive home from So Cal in one shot - about 10 1/2 hours. 

I did 13 hrs straight once... but that sucked cuz I was by myself... :/

DH drives most of the time, I play DJ with our pretty extensive collection of music. Makes the time go by faster.

Cant do it, can't even stay awake for a four hour drive

I have stayed awake for four days without sleep and on last day drove nonstop from Saint Lucy FL to Tn . sick baby hundred miles an hour all the way . then slept for twenty four hours .

But our fave music is total opposites anyways...

I have driven except gas twenty four hours gas junk food bathroom always fast remember showing my son the speed ometer at 110 got a call grandmother dying in Canada Nashville to Bar Harbor Maine twenty three hours . hate plans so I flew on the ground . not that dumb now only do eighty in the big truck only one I feel safe in

It's gonna be a pretty black pullet... nah... I'd be tempted if it was a boy... oh, btw, I bet I could convince my OH to drive down there and bring you any eggs or chicks if you end up with an extra AC or Fibro co... young roo to trade off...

I might just have to do that!! I will let you know what turns out.

The longest I have ever driven was 16 hours straight......that sucked!

Yeah I don't have kids anymore...just two dogs but they do good in a car....
