Great gift. It does all sort of wonderful things for them developmentally as well.
That is cool. You work on machinery? Or something else?
Yes!Awesome!
Yeah. Nope! My brother in law does though. (It was for him too.) We're going to fix the floorboards of his VW bug.
Yes!

I love welding...I have all my welders home and my plasma cutter too.But the coolest gift is the welding equipment my parents got my brothers and I
That's true, too... just like trying to hatch bantams and lf together... plus it's harder to regulate proper humidity for both in same bator...
X2 on the double yolkers... I won't ever set those...
Last lockdown of 2015 underway...8 eggs from my fancy EEs. I popped them in a Brinsea 20 just for fun. Should be hatching on the 28th!
I thought I had quoted Walnut too about the pullet eggs/double yolkers....I'm on my phone and pics are hard enough to load, not going to try to figure out how to add her quote...
Quote:
On an obscure egg shell, it may not be possible to detect a double yolker. But with a translucent shell and a good light, you can readily see two yolk shadows, and if you've started incubation, you will see two dark spots and two sets of blood vessels.
They will never be "identical twins" as two eggs and two sperm are involved. I had a turkey egg go full term with twins but since I wasn't home to to a full on assist I lost them.
