All types. bluegill are a favorite eater, perch, walleye, pike.
When I fish Lake Superior we fish White fish, Splake, lake trout, smelt, and Coho.

I had to google most of those to see what they were....

I grew up mostly ocean fishing or stream fishing for trout.

I love seafood but not so much the fish. Mostly because up here most of the fish at market are freshwater. Those are all great eating fish. Walleye is probably the most prized of all.The only salt water fish you get around here commonly is cod.....don't like it.

I fish for brook trout in the summer......but not through the ice.

I also had to google a tip-up. Had no clue. Ice fishing is probably on my list of least likely things I'll ever do since I don't like to be cold.

While googling, I couldn't figure out why some girls wear bikinis while using ice augers - probably the same ones who wear bikinis while working on cars.

We like perch and crappie. walleye are fun to catch, but we have to go aways to find a stocked lake. I have been ice fishing a few times, but never with any Hut or tent. It wasn't what I could call fun, at least not after the first 10 min . I am sure it is much better with the tip up.

It's allot better with a heated shack....I have nice swivel recliners inside.....radio on, snacks, sometimes we take a little grill out. Heck you put tip ups out...you can even take a nap,!!!!! now I don't drink when I fish...but some people do....it's just fun and relaxing.
