I would think nuts are fine because wild bird seeds has nuts....so....I give mine nuts....

I don't give mine chocolate, but many times have given them peanuts. Not in large quantities. One thing I was surprised to hear is toxic to them is avocado. I love avocado and guacamole. But no scraps for the birds with that!

Yeah, that's one I won't test... I think it's the oil in the skin, pit and bark of the tree, but it's in the flesh til it gets to full ripeness or something? Not sure, but heard tons about it being toxic and yet a few that give it all the time without issues... :/
So much conflicting stuff... some say never feed tomatoes too, but others say they give tomatoes all the time w/out issue...

See I give mine avacodo all the time! They love the flesh. The only part they can't eat is the pit and the skin. So I just don't give them that. But let me tell you.. when I bring that out. ...they go bonkers!!
