Hatching Calls is always long days, lol... but had to pick up my gorgeous black Am boy and then we had the obligatory dinner with OH's parents... and drove them around town... love 'em, but they can wear out a saint...

how far back are the am pics?
thats cool! Have you ever used Emory cloth to sand your eggs before incubating them? And I forget if you said you hand turn horizontal or you have them upright for incubation... curious

No, I've never sanded my eggs before... each batch lately I am trying a bit different... used a turner, didn't mist... used a turner, did mist... and the batch I have going now are hand turned, not sure if I am gonna mist or no... maybe less this time...

you wash them or dip them if you mist before setting? Have you ever noticed the veining not going to the bottom of the egg during candles?
