Let me know when it crows, cause it looks just like the hens I had, that I thought were roos too because of comb and wattle size and intense redness, but I'll be they were hens, lol, my mistake I told them.

Well at nearly 3 months old and just getting his tail feathers and back feathers if its true that males feather slower than females I think we have a roo. All the other barred rocks are fully feathered.

Still you might be able to set up a micro climate. I can make a micro climate here to grow prickly pears.

Hey guys do eggs taste weird if they freeze? I scrambled a bunch this morning and they definitely had a bad off taste...I just thought about that cause my daughter was complaining this AM she wouldn't even touch them! I tasted them and they definitely had a bad taste. Just wondering...

I have read most of the books, not the newest yet, but have not watched the series yet. It is one of those is definitely need to only watch when babies are sleeping.

I've got three left that look just like that but this day 23 for us.

I had an early hatch, probably because my incubator was running 0.3 degrees higher than the display - and I didn't compensate for it. Next month I'll go down a tiny bit and see if that makes a difference.

7 hatched yesterday on day 20 (one of those during the night before), two last night, and today it's day 21 with the one pip and one question mark. If it doesn't pip by the end of tomorrow, I'm going to toss it.

I want to try growing rhubarb soooo bad! I love that stuff. They sale it at TSC might get some if it goes on sale before it goes bad. (Everyone says its too hot here)

It grows wild here. ANd it does get cold some times. (Like it iced for 3 days one year)

I LOVE cactus! I have several 6 or 7 feet tall & probably 15 different kinds!
