Well, all the new black babies are girls!
These are from a black roo over a barred hen...
But the last batch had a couple of both...
Girl on left, boy on right... as soon as the down is dry, if it's a boy you should be able to see the headspot...
Ideal lists their Blue Swedish as black to gray with white chests...

I got my chicks! They all look wonderful except these three. I think they got cold. I got them on a heating pad, i do nor have any save a chick (i know my bad) i gave them some water from a syringe, they take it. Anything else?
May I tell you how friggin awesome you are!!
Definitely no white heads like that, but if a silkie was the mom, I could still have boys. But that's ok.
I'll sell any males or frizzle females, so hopefully I end up with something to add to my flock.
Add some honey to the water if you have it, a bit of sugar if you don't... honey is best though, and the sweet should give them a bit of a boost... cute chicks!!
