Now that pretty duck can stare at me all day long!

Yep, beat my sister to it this afternoon, they saw her coming and ran right into their penQuestion for all you duck lovers. Do they come into the coop at night like chickens?
Your good. LOLI saw it at Arbys on their white board....had to throw it out there....how funny.
naw....your a Raven.....which is the coolest of the birds anyway.....![]()
Go Spice....go
oh sorry still a nice looking drake
Oh yes, the schedules!…..Just don't put your other phumb near that bill!!!![]()
Yes, and no...![]()
They are all about schedules, so if you teach them early it works better... and don't change their schedule... mine free range on the yard and will go into the pen on their own most evenings... but they'd rather party in a pool all night long than go inside a duck house... and don't change their schedule... stragglers for the most part can be herded in or bribed with treats... but you'll always get 'those ones'... and don't change their schedule...

Yeah, didn't go too well. That's adorable, Deb!!!![]()
Ever try putting them up early?
Runners are good, funny to watch, best egg laying breed, good sluggers. What's a good beginner duck breed? I want smaller ducks.
You could get away with just drinking water thats deep enough for them to get their heads under but you'll have happier ducks (And plants) if theres somewhere they can swim. We a kiddy pool (Holds about 55 gallons) and ours are pretty happy with that.HoW much water do ducks need? My chickens have coops and runs (all covered). They free range when I'm home. Will the same work for ducks? Oh, do chickens and ducks get along?
