French frogs

Look at what I made. Holds 5 dozen eggs. :th
That's neat Dan! I really like that!
That's cute!
My wife just told me we got 10" of snow coming tonight
I'm really jealous..
Sports update: our Panthers are up 12-3 over the #1 2-A team in SC high school baseball. Top of the third. Our boy has two base hits!
That's super Oz!
Not really a big fan of any sport, but if we are picking teams I go the Royals. I have been to a handful of their games, it is a long weekend drive for us.
My #1 baseball team! I'm also from K.C.
:weee: WE JUST BEAT THE #1 TEAM IN SOUTH CAROLINA 15-3!!!!
THAT is cool! How's the thumb doing Oz?
:thumbsup I used to drive to Lincoln a lot before my boyfriend moved here. Took about 7 hours from St. Louis area. Not a bad drive. KC area about halfway. Always stopped at my favorite QT in Oak Grove. Excellent!!
I know right where that is! Two of my cousins live there.

Hatch is done.

100% shipped eggs, 100% damaged air cells, a few full rollers and the rest saddled. I pulled the plug 24 hours after the first hatch, and the hatch was done (eggtopsied all unhatched).

Overall 67 chicks out of 81 eggs that started growing (a couple may not have, they were too dark to see through). 72% of the eggs that I thought showed signs of growth did hatch.

The best hatch was in my cooler hatcher, next in the Ova Easy, and finally the Eco 20. The only sticky chicks were in the Eco 20, as well as the only ones that did not absorb all their yolk. All eggs spent the first 18 days in the same tray in the GQF so this was a hatching test.

Ravyn, yours ended up with a 64% hatch rate that would have been higher if I had removed the 4 eggs that did not develop. Farmboy, yours ended up with a 46% hatch rate with 7 of them failing during lockdown. All of those had really bad air cells and I think laying them down prevented the chick from getting to the air.

I am happy with the hatch, I have a tub full of beautiful bouncy chicks! Pics after they are all fluffed.

I figured you would agree with me :) We have been to KC several times but it is much bigger then two hicks from no where are used to, we never venture far from the hotel. (We tried once, I made him turn back when all the cars started losing their tires...)
:yesss: That's awesome! Must feel great knowing how hard those local kids played to win!

Do you think that irregular humidity levels affected the chicks in the ECO?
