French frogs

Then a five gallon bucket turned gravity waterer?

The babies are only a week old. I bought a 10 pack of horizontal nipples with the little shield and tiny cup but they can't seem to activate the water, else that would be the perfect solution. I screwed one into a juice bottle and am trying to train a few by constant repetition but it's not going well.

I don't like leaving gravity waterers without oversight. They can go for months without an issue and the day I leave on a three day weekend they empty on the floor.

I did something like this, with enough pipe, it can hold alot of water. Maybe you could do a few separate ones, so if something goes wrong with one, the chicks could still use the others?

My chicks couldn't activate the horizontal nipples for the first week or two either.

I saw a unit made like the one WV posted, but it had a 5 gallon water bottle upside down in the top of the PVC pipe.
