Hey lady! Doin well, stayn busy busy w Spring! Thanks on the name change, jus wish I could've done it like u did! The 'new egg' is sort of embarrassing since I've been here a year. guess I'll have to post a lot to makeup the difference ;)

Thank you, I been thinkin about u and ur delema. How about if u use the bunny nipples setup w multiple 5 gal buckets to cover the malfunction problem, the vast Number "problem"

and the 2-3 days...

That would be great if this wasn't Michigan and freezing weather and all my little babies in a brooder box! The big birds are still on the 55 gallon auto waterers with heat tapes. But I need to provide for all my littles...those in the inside brooder, inside cage, outside brooder, small pen, and grow out pen. That's a lot of birds and not a one of them has running water!

What about this idea, it uses a float.

Yep that is what I want to do. And that's what I do for the big birds in the winter when I can't use the hose to keep water running. (just add heat tapes to the hoses and basin, and stock tank heaters in the barrels). The challenge is keeping it clean and leak free and no drowning risk and no puddles inside the brooder. I'm not asking much, just everything!

Black tubs, like they suggest, maybe try using the hardware cloth in them like @dan26552 was doing. Dan your here do you know what I am talking about?

But a pan like that with bricks inside it so birds could not get into the much of the water, and then steps that lead up to the bowl, so little chick's can drink?
