Hopefully tomorrow people. Goodnight!

Not yet. I'm hoping to get my 15 ameraucana chicks this week if everything goes well for the breeder.

I've also got 29 eggs from Walnut in the incubator on day 8. They had a rough ride getting here, but it looks like I've got some development going, so I'm hoping to get a few from those as well.

Howdy Farm boy..... Good luck on this hatch..... Even though my hatch rate wasn't stellar I'm pleased with my four little ducks..... Was just playing with one of them.... Trying to get then used to being handled.....

good morning frawgs.

Turk, stay healthy gal......

Friday, congrats on your hatch on shipped eggs.

Good luck on the hatch - you'll be swimming in chicks!

I grew hollyhocks in WA... loved them... you should get some seeds...
Better start practicing your haybale forking techniques...

LOVE hollyhocks, my gran had them growing around her house. I grew up surrounded by flowers - the lot next to her house was owned by people that lived across the street, they used the entire lot as a flower garden, it was absolutely beautiful and so much fun to see and learn about all the different kinds of flowers. Nita and Paul (the neighbors) were like another set of grandparents to us kids, especially me, and I spent a lot of time in the garden with them.

The books are fantastic, I have not watched the show yet. They are very dark, very gritty. No themes of love conqures all or good always wins...the only thing you can count on is everyone will die. It is based off the War of the Roses. Very good read.
Oh, yes, they are WONDERFUL books -- I'm enjoying the tv version too....I know some people get upset when they change things around compared to what happens in the books, but I am not minding it much this time as I like to see where they might take the story - especially since George RR Martin is STILL leaving us hanging as far as getting another book out. They are BIG books, but they read so fast because you get caught up in the story - though there was one that really seemed more like a chore than a pleasure to get through. I do enjoy watching the things that do follow the books because DH has never read them so it's kind of nice to know things he doesn't know and watch his face when they happen. I like how the good characters can turn out bad and the bad characters can end up being redeemed, or at least having moments of redemption.....or you find yourself feeling sympathy for people you never thought you could care about.

How are you farm wife?

I am good. I got my garden gate up so now I will I can plant my garden and quit worrying about the chickens destroying it all. This second batch of chicks actually lived, so I now can move forward with my meat bird plans. How is it down south

There used to be a patch of hollyhocks here. They were mowed down by my SIL (she did see them as weeds) so now I have the house and a huge weed patch, trying to get it back to the hollyhocks.
Yes it is fun watching someone else read those books, when you know what is coming. I am about two books behind, but it has been so long since I read the first ones I feel like I need to reread them first. Have you ever tried to reread those books, it is brutal.

Good morning Bert, OGM & OFW! Did you all have nice weekends?

ETA: Good morning to you, too, Friday. I see you're viewing...probably catching up like I was.

Also, what's the author's name or book titles for those that Game of Thrones comes from? I might read those.

Good morning, Deb!
Had a nice weekend here - I work half days on Saturdays, but the afternoon was nice - and yesterday was a lovely, lazy Sunday with DH and the boy.
How was your weekend?

George RR Martin. Trust me ask any book store attendant for the Game of thrones series, they will know exactly what you are looking for.
ETA: I did have a good weekend, thank you. How about you?

Lovely, lazy Sunday sounds nice. Did you have good weather?

Thanks, OFW! I buy all my books on my Nook or from Amazon. Going into an actual bookstore is too tempting. I have no willpower.

Weekend was good, thanks. Great weather! Spent Saturday helping my friend shop. I've got a duck with bumblefoot & another with an eye infection. It sure is a struggle to catch them & I hate the fact that I'm scaring the bejeebers out of them.
