looks like he shed not too long ago too.....make a pretty hat band, or belt. can even use for a cover on a knife sheath......they are pretty easy to skin and tan.....

That's actually a pretty snake if it wasn't in the nest box... Get some minnow traps, Dan...

You know one of the wonderful things about having a proper winter, is we do not have a huge snake problem. Really we only have a few reptiles. We have gardener and bull snakes, that is all I have ever seen. I was told we once had cotton mouths, but not in my life time. Winter is worth not having snakes

We have those and copperheads, but ain't never sen them up on our hill...
