French frogs

Is she broody now??? If so, then that is why her comb is light...

Duh! Head slap! Yes, she and the black one were in a box together. That's one reason the lady wanted to rehome them, she said they have been very broody. She lives in the city and can't have roos, so she wants breeds not quite so broody! Lol

Dan your ducks are pretty. They look like their enjoying themselves
The 2 chocolates look a little different from each other, but still gorgeous I think. I think I'll know more after I research a little. The lav is nice, feathering is a little frayed, but her shape is good, and I think she will be very pretty full grown. The black has a beautiful green sheen. Much nicer birds than I expected, so the plan is changing from making them Moonshines' girls. I think I'll keep the chocs at home and maybe try to find a male or get some eggs to hatch. And take the lav and black to put my my lavs at camp.

I really like the chocolates. Different, very pretty color!

For some reason I was thinking there was a correlation between lavender and chocolate. :idunno

Nope... chocolate and mauve...

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

So they can get wet? I realized they would be in the water soon, but wasn't sure how quickly. I will need to look for brewers yeast.

I order from Amazon. Nutritional yeast flakes.

So, my little Rosie is just a barnyard mutt, but her color seems unusual and I've always thought pretty. What color would she be? She kind of has a taupe color to her. Her comb is bad but she's a sweetheart and lays like a champ!

I know very little about chickens so no help with color, but she sure is purty!  :love

She is pretty! Do you know what her parents are?

Sorry! Got a call from an old girlfriend I went to school with.
Lol. I believe her mom was a speckled colored Cochin, and her dad was kinda white I think. But her sisters all are different! One black, one speckled like momma, and one looks like a blue Cochin.
She looks like she has a Frankenstein comb in the pic. And it leans over But it's not as bad as the photo!
