So I was reading your info on sticky chicks caused by too high humidity in the lockdown stage. I agreed with your findings, compared w my own, and decided I Had to try something new. U know where I am and what my areas like, plus I had the experience of hatching the BCM without water added... I added no water at this hatch. I'm nervous as heck, and this won't become protocol for some time but I have two hatchers now who r dry within an hour plus 14 pips that aren't turning yellow... Humidity Currently reading at 57%

And not for the faint of heart, the turkey hen that survived a raccoon attack.

They look great! And wow on the turkey! If that black shows any yellow on the foot pads, definitely Araucana... but not all my Ar's are properly yellow skinned, ugh... I still swear some of those are blues... I think the 'unsures' should just be stuck in your mix... :/

X4 want to see . Good late evening all OK update 276 eggs locked down that are piping tonight don't have a clue how many pips .All I can say is a bunch . Most of the Marans were clear rooster shooting blanks or not covering Two of the three wild turkeys eggs have swimmers . What in the world am I going to do with them . DW and DD have both be attacked by wild hens and hate them .I told them about the eggs tonight .I got a couple of looks that kinda unnerved me a little .

If those turkeys hatch, I'll raise them for you but you get them back for dinner...

So I woke up at 4..... But fell back asleep on my new comfy chair for a little while..... I know it's a rough job but someone has to do it
