You could name your rooster Scotts, and then the other hens WhiteCloud and Cottonelle...

Hey.... Hope it's a good day.... Just checking in.
Rav I feed mine layena plus omega.... But mine don't eat tons of it either cuz I'm always feeding them snacks and they are heavy foragers..... But there still wasn't any doubt that my eggs did get better with the little that they do eat.

Layena is good stuff, I don't dispute that at all... :)

It's just not very practical when I have 5 layers and 109 not, lol... but the Silvers would not even touch it... like I said, I think it has more to do with their early raising... you would be appalled if I said the specifics... :/

I will do that. Thanks for the advice.

Anytime...

Hey SC, if you are still checking in, here's one for you. :gig

I can't decide if that falls under the category of sophisticated chickens or 'You might be a Redneck if...' :gig

Haha those are good. All blues and blacks, no white, but one is definitely Conttonelle! :)

Oh my..... :/

And yes, my chicks are both! :lol:

@WalnutHill
Is this normal? (The wing feathers sticking out like that.)

No need to worry, Dan. That's a growth phase they go through. As the primaries and secondaries grow out, they will tuck back up nicely again. I've been raising turkeys 18 years and never had an angel wing, but always have these "teen wings".

My darling daughter just came home on her new motorcycle. She just took her class, bought the bike today, and rode home...

DH wasn't thrilled.

We both ride so there is only concern for her safety, no "objection" to her riding.
