I have potatoes, peas, green beans that are getting murdered by bugs and a cold snap, lettuce, Swiss chard, onions, asparagus, strawberries that survived my girls tender care, and I am trying to grow an herb garden it looks rather pitiful at the moment.

Farm wife you are quite the gardener! Great job! Hope your doing good this A.M I'd look the Jehovah witness guy square in the eye...that he's a nice guy and it's nothing personal...but you don't believe that way. Or tell him your whatever religion u were raised. He ought to leave you be. It's all in the way you say it!

I had two squash plants that matured 15 days early I'll be breeding these for next years seed.

My dog, when you grab him firmly by the collar, will push off on his hind legs, lift his forelegs, strain forward, raise his ruff, and bark like he's ready to kill.

Let him go, and he'll pass on by for a romp through the neighborhood. But he's still an effective deterrent.
