My dog, when you grab him firmly by the collar, will push off on his hind legs, lift his forelegs, strain forward, raise his ruff, and bark like he's ready to kill.

Let him go, and he'll pass on by for a romp through the neighborhood. But he's still an effective deterrent.

I will be danged, if I will let anyone pester me or my family, on my property.

if they can't take the hint to not come back, I WILL reinforce the hint. and every time they come back, it will increase

I was planning on letting the chickens in the garden periodically once things get more established. I was wondering would it be better to let the ducks in instead? Do ducks do as much damage as chickens to a garden?

They're all destructive, in different ways... depends on how many and for how long too...
