Ravyn do you have a box fan? I grew up without AC for central heat. What I would do right before bedtime, let's take a hot shower. Then right before getting out of the shower turn it all the way to cold. We live on well water So when it was all cold, it was really cold. Stay in there for as long as you can stand.

Have a box fan already set up in a window with the bed pushed up next to it. Then I would take a top sheet, and use it like a windtunnel around the fan. Anchor down the edges on the bed with books for whatever is handy.


It is not an AC, but it did the trick

Compared to the 90 of all day, this is nice and cool, lol... actually, I'm fine with this... it's during the daytime I can't handle...

I grew up without central heat or air, but that was in the PNW... 80's was considered hot... :gig
