maybe iam doing something wrong. when i go to hard boil some of my eggs they are real hard to peal. is it because they are so fresh or could it be beacuse i have a roo with my girls?
the roo has nothing to do with it, but fresh does. the air pockets are smaller in the egg and therefor, membrane close to shell. let them age a few days that helps. (on counter at room temp up to six, days, fridge up to six weeks.)

Put a teaspoon of baking soda in your water before you boil them it changes the PH and make them ez to peal! Just try it you will like it.
Salt in the water also helps, but I really like the 'poke a hole in each end and blow' suggestion! I've yet to try it though. welcome!
