Fresh eggs

So I'm curious if it is better to refrigerate your fresh eggs or leave them on the counter? I've been keeping them refrigerated and we eat about 8 each weekend.
Hi there. :frow

While it is OK to keep eggs at room temp... I by far prefer to keep them refrigerated... as they age (about 7 times) faster on the counter than in the fridge. Which means they lose quality faster... decreasing egg white thickness, making yolks pop easier, decrease shell strength, etc., In MY experience.

Stored unwashed (if clean) in the fridge, they have been better than store bought eggs, even 6 months old!

You will get lots of opinions on this. I actually do both, my decision is based on how quickly I will consume the eggs. Generally at times of the year when I don't have that many eggs and they will all get eaten within a week or two I leave them on the counter, but if I am going to be storing them for a longer period of time, I like to refrigerate them.
