Fresh feed from Chewy

Just wanted to alert others. I ordered Nutrena Naturewise Free Range Egg Producer Pellets 21% Protein from Chewy and am impressed since was milled on 8/21/25 & I received it 8/30/25 I can't get anything fresher. I know some folks often wonder about Chewy, but I've had nothing but excellent service. Was ~ $0.50 per pound which is a great price for my area.

I also have excellent service although I order Kalmbach feed. Not quite that fresh, but still very good. If you auto ship the prices are very good too.

I used to order the Kalmbach All Flock, but one time they refused to eat it & went days without eating, so figured they knew something that I didn't know & tossed it. Switched over to Nutrena & been happy since. Oh yes, am familiar with autoship.

Good for you checking the mill dates! That has been my experience with Chewy as well. I also order Nutrena feeds from there and they are always recently milled and have never gone bad in storage. TSC on the other hand....

I order Nutrena feeds from there as well, and have been very happy with my purchases. The prices are as good as I can find, it really does ship in 1-3 days, and the feed is fresh.

Indeed they are quick & have often received items less than 24 hours later.

Oh definitely check dates on everything & everywhere, not just Chewy. The customer service at Chewy is superb and am positive they would make it right if anything went wrong or one wasn't satisfied with a product or date.

I don't know about protein, but i use the 17% and it works great. Like I said, I love this brand so much, so I'm pretty sure it is healthy.
