Freshly hatched chick breathing funny

Hello everyone!
I hatched chicks in my classroom. This is number 17 and I had to assist him by breaking just a few shell bits off. He was able to break through by himself after that, but now he/she is breathing really hard and hasn’t quite gotten up yet.

It hatched 2 hours ago. My kids and I saw him bust out of the egg.
But now I’m worried

I’d love to get your input. Is there anything I can do? Should I prepare my students for this one to not make it? Thank you!

When hatching, always prepare for some loss.
I would give it some time, it's never been around before.

This is my little friend. He’s gunky and can’t really stand up. I’ve prepared the kiddos.
