Freshness the biggest factor

I had 80% hatch with Coturnix quail last batch with my eggs turned daily and only four days old. Best with mail order 50%

Congratulations on your hatch. ♥ Freshness is a factor but eggs can be weeks old and still hatch.... my broody hens have shown me that. Mail does a whole lot to eggs that can ruin a hatch. I've had 0 hatch from mailed eggs and also 80%.
