The best idea is to boycott all goods shipped into this country from China.
If they don't get our bucks, then they can't afford cars, and if they don't have cars they won't need gas.
At the same time it encourages manufacturing to restart in OUR country giving us back jobs and income.

I agree here. Something needs to give.

You can thank the Clinton administration for our countries jobs being everyone else. That happened when he signed the NAFTA bill.

I started a whole new thread thinking no one had heard about it. I guess I'm the one who is behind. At least people are making an attempt to do something. It may not really help but at least the polititians will hear about the boycott...doing something is better than just complaining about the prices... I cant afford to buy any either way. I have 5$ to my name.
