Fried eggs?

Did I just fry my eggs? I have a little giant still air incubator that went up to 108 for an hour! I have 9 serama eggs on day 15.

Oooh that IS high! That one's iffy. I've gone up to 105 on day 1, and 104 on day 18, but i dont know about 108. Candle them tonight and look for movement.

I'm not good at candling. When ever I candle, all I see is a blob (fertile) or just a yolk (not fertile). I guess I'll just have to wait.

they may be still ok just get the temp back down an candle them...

i have a Little Giant bator as well but mine stays at 99.5 it doesn't go up or down like my old bator

Remember that the inside of the egg takes time to warm up so an hour, even at that temp, might NOT be fatal.

I so hope they're OK. I've had some pretty wild swings...even up to 105 for a short time and right now I have 18 eggs with kicking chicks on day 15.
