Friend gave me 2 chicks, are they roosters or hens?

aloha, a friend gave me 2 chicks. Not sure the breed, likely mutts. Also not sure the age, probably around 8 weeks. When I got them a few weeks ago they were the same size, now one is much bigger then the other. maybe 1 rooster 1 hen? not sure how to tell. Thanks for the help!

I isolated chick 2 and put some blue cote on his/her face with a qtip. Any other suggestions welcome!!

You'll have to watch for other signs of sickness,but that should be enough

not sure, i think the other chick must have pecked it. maybe they are both roos and so they are fighting?

I think they are both pullets! At eight weeks cockerels will have comb and waddle growth!
