Friend Issues part Deux

I would tell friend she needs help, and probably let family and friends know so they can help....then I would back off. Negative people will bring you down. All that unloading it makes them feel better, but the negative vibes are passed on to you.Let a counselor do it.It is what they are paid to do,and they have the ability to help and deal with the negativity.

My bro always threatens suicide when I tell him to get his life together,go straight, face the music. I have had enough of it.It is their lives to live.If we want them a part of ours, and they bring us down that is something we allow. I am moving on. I hope better days for you and your friend.

I read a lot of suicide stories and in most cases parents say they never had a clue,so tell this friends parents.

Not to be rude...
That should make the op feel better, now she is "responsible" if she goes through with it?
I have suicidal thoughts and if I actually decide to go through with it, I will not tell anyone. If your friend is reaching out to you...it is actually that...she is reaching out to you...she has not made up her mind. Obviously she trust you and looks to you for help, don't let her down or she might go through with it. You are in for a dime...stay in for a dollar.

I wish that I had a friend to talk with. The VA and the Army have left me with nowhere to turn. If it wasn't for my wife...I would have checked out a long time ago. I am worth almost a million dollars dead...and almost penniless alive.
