Friendliest breed?

Silkies are great for the kids I agree nice calm chickens and lay good....I thought easter eggers too and have 16 pullets from last year that should be laying and I have yet to get any eggs and they are quite skittish so I am kinda disappointed.

I have two white Bantam Cochines. Love them! They are so sweet and friendly. They make little peeping rounds like they are talking. They put themselves to bed earlier then any of my others. Just so cute. My next friendliest are my Rhode Island Reds. They love interacting with us and like to be held. We have Buff Orpington's too. They are supposed to be very friendly and docile. Ours aren't as much. They run away when we try to just reach out and pet them. Plus, one of them is a bully. Our Americauna is flighty. Unfortunately, she is at the bottom of the pecking order. She is sweet once we get a hold of her, but doesn't come over to us on her own. But, for sure the Cochins! Sweetie Pies!
