Beautiful chicks Cyn. I don't get to have baby chicks this year *heavy sigh*. My SO says the only way I can have chicks this year is if one of my hens goes broody. I've explained this to the girls, but they're not listening.

Not sure which wire you mean, Bil. That's a wire dog kennel wrapped in cardboard about halfway up, so the sides are wire. The bottom of the heatlamp guard is showing and the black wire is the probe from the thermometer. Did I cover the wire you mean?

Kat, hope you get a broody. I have one too many already.

Yep, that turtle was a huge surprise, LOL. The chicks love it. They sleep on its head, legs and back.
