Friendly duck breeds?

what type of brewers yeast should i get for Pekin ducks?

Any Duck breed can be friendly...Depends on the Duck if they want or like being held?..Not natural for them....I like my Calls, Buff and Silver Appleyard....Great Ducks...Come when Called.....

The hatchery I'm ordering from doesn't carry Calls (Metzer Farms) but i think Calls are super cute! I think that from what i have heard, Pekins sound right for me, but maybe later I'll try some Calls.

Make sure you supply them with extra niacin..Pekin grow fast....Ill tag someone to help with the proper niacin and amounts...

Do you think that the ducklings will be all right in the run inside my chicken pen? It has been super warm here-in the eighties and nineties. Should they be in my basement with heat lamp? I just think they would be happier outside and they could have a pool without me being concerned about mess.

I like welsh harlequin, so pretty and calm. Make sure the ducklings see you a lot and are handled throughout. Figure out their favorite treats and reward them while being held. They'll learn to come running!

I'm planning to keep them outside their box or run (depending on whats best) with me outside in the garden or if I'm just sitting. They are going to be handled, for sure, I am so excited about them. I love ducks, and have been wanting some for a while.
