friendly hens...

So yesterday, one of my best (and smartest and most worldly traveled) friends was asking me if my rhode island hens were friendly. she shared that she visited a friend of hers out of state whom had five rirs and they were so friendly that they kept coming up to her and squatting just to get their necks scratched. I started laughing and explained why they do this, and SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BELIEVE ME. Actually shook her head and said I was wrong, because they wanted to socialize.

Perhaps. But that wasn't their intent. She was a sub rooster and didn't even know it...hahahaha
