I have had my 17 Red Bourbons since 3 days old now they are over 13 weeks old and I have spent so much time with them that that any person approaching them they come a running that's now a little bit of a problem.
I let my turkeys free range from time to time and I have a neighbor across the road from me that has a yard that is one big flower and vegetable garden and he spends a lot of time out in his yard well this morning the turkeys were free ranging and spotted the neighbor and came a running to him.
I look out the front window to see him surrounded by my Turkeys.
I went running bare foot across the road to get them and apologized to him and he was nice about it and as I was chasing the Turkeys back home across the road I fell and gave my self a good road rash all up and down my right leg ouch.
I then herded them back into there pen dang Turkeys LOL.

Turkeys tend to go and check out any action. It is dangerous for them to be in the road, and the neighbor isn't going to like it once they discover his yard is deliciously edible.

So, I suggest that you keep them penned up, or else fence your yard so they can't get out.

I agree. Dog, cat, turkey or horse, responsible animal owners keep their animals properly contained, if not for the safety of the animals themselves, then at least out of concern for neighbors or others who may encounter them. The liability if your birds caused an accident while in the road is huge.

What is this ?.

Do you People Know my address do you have a map of my property.
I,m Sorry did what I write seem to be begged for criticism or was I offering up a funny story.
I live out in the Sticks and see maybe 6 cares or trucks during the day and I have acres of land for them to free range.

I do my best not to prejudge anyone with out all the details or facts and only offer up only Suggestions.

Thanks again for your consideration.
