Cinder sat in back in the den, looking around wearily.

Ice looked into Timber's eyes. "Its a deal." He decided.

Night padded up towards Charger and nudged her.

Stone, the Forest Pack alpha, was watching the two of them with amusement and padded out of where he was hiding. "You should be careful out here. Blood Pack has been spying." He rumbled, looking at the deer. "Good Catch." He praised them.

Coby nodded and followed.

"And thanks." Ivy finished in a soft voice with a smile. She nodded to the deer. "You first." She said in a gentle and calm tone.

Ahead of Onyx was a tributary that trailed off from the river. It didn't have the strong currents like the river, but it's waters could be deadly, especially in winter. It had frozen over a thin layer of ice had formed over it during the night and was covered sparsely with snow. What bothered Onyx the most was the gaping hole of churning water in the center of the small, frozen river. A single paw print could be seen from where he was on shore near the hole of broken ice. He thought, No! She can't be gone. She would never walk on thin ice. Maybe I missed something. Maybe she on the shore somewhere. I think I will get Cinder and ask if she could help look He raced back to the den calling out to Cinder as he came closer.

Maya smiled at Cedar and padded over. "Nice!" She said happily. "I'll go try to find some more." She said lightly.
