Melody opened her eyes and stared into the sun, by where the sun was she could tell it was about 11:00 am she stepped up and stretched and headed for the stream that flowed near her warm cozy den.

Charger flew to Fang's left. She landed on her side, but rolled over and was up again in an instant. She bared her teeth. "So," Charger said. "This is Fang, the bloodthirsty wolf who leads the Blood pack." Her eyes locked with Fang's again.

Timber rose to his feet. "This is a good-sized rabbit." he said, sniffing it.
